Our customer brief was initially to create a Necklace Box Oak to safely hold a large and unique necklace being presented as a special birthday gift.  After several discussions by phone and social media, further additions were made to the box, including a lift-out tray to hold rings, watches and a bespoke jewellery pouch, which was created in the same soft Taupe suede as the box lining.  The finishing touch for the box was to add a personalised message in walnut, to the lid top, using marquetry.  The hardware included solid brass hinges and matching lock with two keys.
